Living as Sojourners and Exiles

The Apostle Peter encouraged the church-scattered throughout Asia Minor to be a living witness of humility and gospel truth to the non-believing neighbors, officials, and rulers around them. In those times of great chaos and Christian persecution, he encouraged them to live as a people who are free. Not in a freedom governed and granted by men, but in the freedom from the curse of sin and death obtained for us by Jesus Christ.  Likewise, Pastor David encourages us to live in humility and objective truth during these chaotic and alien times and to bear witness in thought, word, deed, and in social media, only what we know to be objective truth.
