Ephesus: A Place of Bold, Christ-Centered, Spirit-Filled Ministry
February 2, 2020 Speaker: Rev. David Donovan Series: Our Shared Life and Mission in the Peacemaking Christ
Scripture: Acts 18:24– 19:10
Pastor David Donovan inaugurates his sermon series in the book of Ephesians, Our Shared Life and Mission in the Peacemaking Christ by examining the very genesis of the church in Ephesus as recorded in the book of Acts. There we see the scholar Apollos, trained in the Scriptures and speaking boldly of repentance as preached by John the Baptist. It was the discipleship of the lay-couple Priscilla and Aquila who further disciple him, teaching him Christ as the "way of God more accurately".
