Pursuing Joy: Resting in True Righteousness

Our greatest need is to be declared righteous by God. Our greatest problem is that every privilege or achievement we can trust in will ultimately come short of God's standard. The good news for us in this passage is that right standing with God does not depend upon your background, experiences, or achievements. Instead, your standing with God is based on your union with Christ by faith. Instead of trying to accumulate your own righteousness, rest in Christ's true righteousness credited to you.
