Facing Giants
Perhaps no biblical story has made its way into the collective consciousness of our culture as has the story of David & Goliath. Because of this, every time an “underdog” takes on a powerhouse, allusions are made to David’s “upset victory” over “statistical favorite” Goliath. Yet is this story primarily about the little guy triumphing over the big guy? Is the point of this passage to give us life-tips to overcome the “giants” in our lives? Join us as we embark on a brief 3 week study of 1 Samuel 17 to discover a treasure store of riches for our faith and practice!
