In this passage, having silenced his antagonists, Jesus goes on the offensive to teach us that often times the people we think are most impressive are actually insignificant in God’s sight. Conversely, in the Kingdom, the ones who the world dismisses as being insignificant are often the ones viewed by God as being highly significant.
