Thanksgiving Ministries Dismissed: [i] The 9:30 am Tuesday Women’s Bible Study will be dismissed. [ii] The 7:00 pm Wednesday Bible Study will be dismissed. Both resume the next week!

The Advent Season Is Coming Soon: “Christ in Christmas, A Family Advent Celebration” is an excellent booklet for our Covenant families to use during the weeks before Christmas. This fine booklet is published by Nav-press, and the ISBN # 0-89109-605-1.

Sunday Morning Worship Nursery: We need help in this expanding Sunday morning ministry. Please call either Mrs. Brooke Horner [678-840-4141] or Mrs. Camille Jackson [770-445-0913] if you can help.

Handbell Choir: Please see Mrs. Terri Barker [404-319-7748] if you are interested in this unique opportunity to learn Handbells. Terry is teaching Handbells for our congregation at the Dallas 1st United Methodist Church Family Life Center from 5:00-5:45 pm each Wednesday.

A Called Congregational Meeting, December 7th: [i] The Session has called a congregational meeting after worship for the purpose of electing Deacons. The Session is ready to present Mr. Rusty Barday and Mr. Joey Rice as candidates for election. If elected, their ordination and installation will be set for Sunday, December 14th. [ii] Copies of the 2009 Budget will be handed out. [iii] Please pray in regards for God’s will as to how/when we are to proceed with the development of the new property and the cost of phase one. [iv] We shall take up a love offering the Gideon’s International Ministries for the purpose of purchasing Bibles, too.

Christmas Play: Sunday, December 14th the Youth Ministry and Youth Choir will present “The Lamb’s Inn” at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary. See Richie or Shannon Hunt, Mrs. Tracy Murchison, Mrs. Rachel Gordon, or Mrs. Laura Boggs if you would like to help prepare and present this play.

Christmas Eve Worship & Communion: Wednesday, December 24th the congregation is invited to share in our annual Christmas Eve Worship Service which begins at 5:30 pm. Please prepare for the Lord’s Supper, too.

On Time for Sunday School and Worship: Please take note that our Sunday School starts on time; i.e., 9:45 am sharp! We are running into class room and nursery problems. Morning Worship is 11:00 am. Please make a big effort to arrive on time. Teachers are going to let us out on time, too.
